Vote!

“You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.” -Friedrich Nietzsche

I came across the quote above some time ago and really fell in love with the saying.  And while I sometimes don’t agree with it since I am always right (haha, kidding of course!), I do find it fitting heading into the home stretch of this election year.

It’s been an ugly political season.  You can’t go anywhere without encountering hateful and often misleading/misinformed ads.

As the two sides battle it out in this last, pivotal week, I’m not going to harp on who I think should win the election in this blog entry.  Although I think my views are quite clear since the environment is so important to me, but again, that’s my opinion.

What I wanted to touch upon today is the importance of voting.  There is no time for apathy here--we are fortunate to have the right to vote!  So use your voice and make it count.  A lot of people sit around and complain, but few do anything about it.  Be the change.

Research what is important to you...know the candidates and what they stand for...and show up.  It’s not that hard.  I know we are all busy, but if you don’t show up to vote, you have no room to complain.

Until next time...

Namaste

Peace, Love, Detroit - New Style on sale now!

“Life is inherently risky. There is only one big risk you should avoid at all costs, and that is the risk of doing nothing.” ~Denis Waitley

I’m excited to announce that the newest free to be yoga tees® design ‘Peace, Love, Detroit’ is on sale now!  This new design represents the resilience, love and spirit of Detroit and those that proudly call it home.

The new design is available in heather dusk (blue) and heather coal (dark gray) in the unisex style, which is made from an organic cotton/RPET blend (RPET is recycled polyester made from plastic bottles.)  This style comes in XS-XXL.

The ‘Peace, Love, Detroit’ design is also available now in the women’s baby-rib tank top in sage green.  The baby-rib tank is made from a blend of organic bamboo, organic cotton and Lyrca and is available in sizes S-XL.

Shop these, and all free to be yoga tees® styles, at freetobeyogatees.com!

The new tees will also be available for purchase at Art-is-in Market at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi starting Wednesday!  Art-is-in Market is located on the second level of the Macy’s concourse.

As always, all free to be yoga tees® styles are earth-friendly and proudly made in the USA, and printed with water-based ink.  Each tee also comes with a wildflower-embedded hangtag that you can soak, plant and grow!  Wholesale pricing is available for yoga studios and other retailers interested in carrying the line.

Thank you for supporting free to be yoga tees®!

Until next time...

Namaste,
Julie

Vote free to be yoga tees

“Only passions, great passions, can elevate the soul to great things.” ~Denis Diderot

No matter where you go, what station you are watching on TV or listening to in the car, you cannot escape the madness of this political season.  And guess what? I’m writing today to ask you for your vote this coming October/November.

Yes, that is right...although I’m not running for President of the United States, I have entered free to be yoga tees® into two contests in hopes of winning some funding to help take my business to the next level.

I’m hoping you can help me by taking a few minutes to support free to be yoga tees® and vote for my small business in one (or both) of the contests.

Information on each contest, as well as my business profile can be found at the links below.  Both of these contests run through the end of November, and you can vote once per day.

The first is the Fed Ex Small Business Grant Contest, and the grand prize is $25,000.  (You must have Facebook in order to vote in this one.)  Click here to vote!

The next is Valpak's "Dough to Grow" Contest, and the grand prize is $10,000.  (You don't need to have Facebook to vote for this one.)  Click here to vote!

It's not easy being a tiny fish in the big sea, but I'm determined, passionate, and full of ideas!

Please help support me and free to be yoga tees® by taking a few minutes out of your busy schedule to vote.  It would mean the world to me!  I truly appreciate it, and please feel free to pass this along.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! :)

I’m Julie Geisinger, and I approve this message.  Haha, okay, I couldn’t help myself! ;)

Until next time...

Namaste,
Julie
